Want a twist on an ordinary cheeseburger? Break out the smoky spice, whether you cook them in a skillet or on the grill. Be sure to melt each slice of Clearfield® cheese completely to give it extra gooey goodness!

Mayonnaise2 tbsp.

BBQ Sauce1 tbsp.

Ground Beef1 lb.

Clearfield® Hot Process Pepper Jack American Cheese8 slices

Corn Dusted Hamburger Buns4

Green Leaf Lettuce Leaves4

Vine Ripened Tomato8 slices

Pickled Jalapeños12 slices

French Fried Onions1 cup
Directions

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and BBQ sauce. Set aside.

Make 4 patties with the ground beef. Cook the burgers on the grill for about 5 minutes on each side depending on the doneness you prefer.

Place 2 slices of Clearfield® Hot Process Pepper Jack American Cheese on top of each burger to melt the cheese. Continue to grill a few minutes more to melt the cheese (covering the burgers with a grill safe lid will quicken the cheese melt).

On the bottom of each hamburger bun, place lettuce, two slices of tomato, the burger patty, pickled jalapeños and fried onions. Spread the top of each bun with the BBQ mayonnaise and cover.

Serve with chips.
