In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and hot sauce. Set aside.

Make 4 patties with the ground beef. Cook the burgers on the grill for about 5 minutes on each side depending on the doneness you prefer.

Place 2 slices of Clearfield® Hot Process Pepper Jack American Cheese on top of each burger. Continue to grill a few minutes more to melt the cheese (covering the burgers with a grill safe lid will quicken the cheese melt).

Spread a layer of hot mayo on the bottom bun. Layer with lettuce, the burger patty, fresh jalapeño slices and fried onion rings. Spread the top bun with hot mayonnaise and cover.

Serve with fries or chips.
